We ran the table with potstickers, wonton soup, California and rainbow rolls, teriyaki chicken, chicken & broccoli, and tempura veggies, and every single dish landed like a culinary mic drop. Nothing bland, nothing boring, nothing missed.

And then there’s Vinson — humble, precise, and the kind of server who makes the whole meal feel smooth and effortless. He didn’t just take care of us; he quietly perfected the experience.

Bonus points: we used the Google Maps “have Google call and reserve” feature, and it worked flawlessly with less than an hour’s notice. Walked in, table ready, zero hassle.

Best sit down Chinese restaurant in Southeastern NC. Plenty of indoor dining. Quick service and food comes out quickly!

Very attentive and hardworking servers. The tables are close together with no real vibe and the meals we chose lacked intense flavor with bland sauces. The sushi was good.

Ashley the bartender was wonderful and very kind . She makes the best sugar cookie martini!!!! ❤️ I loved the food as well, it came out very quickly. We will come back soon!

I came here when I was visiting in the spring and absolutely loved it. So looking forward to coming back, but the meal that I had when I returned in September was just mediocre. I wonder if they got a new chef? I’ll probably give them one more try but not enthusiastically.

This was my first time at a Asian restaurant!
The food was amazing, I got one of the chefs specials. Kim, our waitress, was awesome!! She was super kind about allergy friendly dishes, and was very friendly to me and my family.
10/10 recommend and would return again ☺️

My wife and I decided to go to one of the best restaurants in this area for her birthday. We've been there a handful of times and we have gotten their carryout many times. On this night, I commend the staff for the best service ever! Vendy, our server, was amazing (a perfeect 10!). The best server ever. Thank you to everyone at Calabash Gourmet and Sushi Bar for making my wife's birthday so special!

Love, love this little gem. The waiters are so attentive and the service is fast. I visit this restaurant at least once a week and not once have I had a bad experience. From drinks to food everything is delicious.
