The food used to be very good and the portions were good for the price you paid. The portions have been reduced significantly and they are frequently out of oysters and other seafood items. You can't call because their phone has been out of order for months.

Prices are reasonable and consistent with the area, making it a great value for the local fare. While some menu items may occasionally be unavailable, substitutes are delicious. Despite minor issues, Bowman's at the Beach remains a recommended dining spot, often noted as one of the best seafood places on the island.
