On one of our last nights of our Carolina Beach vacation we decided on trying out a low country boil from Cape Fear Boil Company, and we are sure glad we did! Granted it took us awhile as a family to decide on our “pot” options, but once we did everything was easy- from the picking up the pots as well as the preparation and cooking instructions.
The seafood (shrimp, clams and crab) was fresh and delicious. The andouille sausage added the perfect spice/heat to the sweetness of the corn and potatoes. Our family completely enjoyed the dinner and would highly recommend Cape Fear Boil Company to anyone in the area considering a dinner option that checks off all the boxes and is easy to enjoy at home or vacationing.

I found Cape Fear boil, on line while planning our trip to Carolina Beach. I immediately loved the concept, my wife agreed that we need to try them one night.
They did not disappoint.
Traveling with three teen girls, that will only eat shrimp for seafood.
We did 2 pots, loaded extra sausage on 1 and added scallops to the other. Everything looked totally fresh and ready to go. It only took around 30 minutes total, and no cutting/chopping anything. The ease was the seller, the flavor sealed it.
I liked it so much that I had to ask about the seasonings, they ended up scooping out a tub to take home to Ohio.
Total stand up company and employee's, everyone was great.
Food was great and the service was good. Very detailed instructions on how to do the cook.

Take out, pre-made low country boil pots. Super simple and the absolute best seafood. Reccomend using their Reccomend beer for your steaming liquid. Very friendly service staff.
This is our first time at Kure Beach. Our first night in we were too tired to go out to dinner so we ordered the boil. The workers were very friendly and helpful to explain the process. It came with very explicit instructions for cooking(and the pot). The worker suggested using a beer instead of water (do this). Thankfully he gave us a warning about the seasoning and we only used half. It was AMAZING. For two adults and a 2 and 4 year old, we ordered two pots and an extra pound of crab legs. I got nervous and added an extra pound of shrimp at the counter but it was definitely not needed. My only complaint was that some of the crab was overcooked, but I think that had to do with the type of stove we had because the shrimp took a bit of extra time. I will adjust my cooking next time or maybe remove the crab earlier. We will be ordering again before we go home!

Disappointed. Serving size of the boils are not as pictured, its more like half that size. We did not receive our entire order. 7 boils order and no sausage or onions.

Ordered from here several times in the past but very disappointed this time. 4th of July ordered a pot for 7 people so cost a lot and they forgot to add one item to our boil and skimped on the rest. Very small portions of shrimp and crab and no sausage at all in the pot! Will rethink ordering another time.

Nice treat for our beach trip over July 4. Couldn’t have been easier to schedule pick up and the pickup staff was super friendly and helpful. The boil was fun to make on the stove right in the pot. The pulled pork and shredded chicken, and sides were also a hit. Would highly recommend.
