The open dining room creates a nice atmosphere, with soft Ed Sheeran piano covers playing in the background, making it a perfect place for third dates. The staff are very kind and friendly; one time, they held onto a customer's hat for two weeks and recognized them when they returned. Service is generally friendly and fast, and the ingredients are fresh, with dishes like the Three Pepper Chicken and lotus root standing out as some of the best foods enjoyed there. The restaurant is known for authentic Szechuan Chinese food that rivals any in North America's best Chinatowns, with some dishes described as brilliant, such as Tofu stuffed with seafood. Although the restaurant itself is a bit dark and not fancy, the overall experience, especially the food and friendliness of the staff, is highly satisfying.
