Wicked good ceviche 😋

Food’s good. It’s not a level of quality that will blow your socks off but it tastes good. They tend to not detail their shrimp, so that hurts the rating for me personally. Service is not great. I’ve ate here probably a handful of times, or more, over the past 7 months and nearly every time my food had not been started until I got there to pick it up. Lunch. Maybe my palate was off today. Food was OK. Appetizer not very good. Had a rice & chicken bowel. Good portion but not remarkable in flavor. Others with me seemed to enjoy their meals.

Lucky Chicken is a charming Peruvian restaurant known for its delicious food and friendly service. The seafood chaufa and Ceviche Mix are highly recommended dishes. The restaurant provides a comfortable atmosphere with simple decorations and light music, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Visitors often praise the flavorful Yuca fries with a tasty sauce, the beef saltado, and a unique fried rice that features several types of meat, crunchy sprouts, and a spicy sauce that elevates the flavors. The chef, led by the owner, does a great job with authentic dishes. The half chicken served with black beans and rice, plantains, and tasty sauces is also a favorite, with large portions and great flavor, although it takes some time to prepare. The restaurant sells Inca Cola, a drink once only available in Peru, which many enjoy trying. Customers appreciate the simple, peaceful lunchtime environment and the good service. Despite a recent 3% charge for food prep, many still find the quality of the food worthwhile, making Lucky Chicken a spot worth visiting for traditional Peruvian flavors and tasty meals.
