“We were in the restaurant on 4/10 and Liz B was our waitress. She was the bubbliest, friendliest waitress and made sure we were taken care of. My husband has high standards for waitresses and as we were leaving he said "she was the best waitress I have had in a long time!" That is a huge comment within itself. “Ignore the negative reviews below, some people can just never be satisfied with anything. We went last Tuesday night so we weren't expecting any wait time which there wasn't any. The wait staff was quick and excellent overall. All of the chefs in the room were full of energy any made it an awesome experience overall. The people complaining that the chefs make a mess must never have gone to hibachi before. Of course the chefs are throwing food around to keep you engaged and clearly that might make a mess, get over it. The portion sizes were huge and everyone i saw in the room had a to go box. The food was great overall and even heated up great for left overs. I was a little skeptical about going after reading recent reviews, but it made me realize that we would experience places for ourselves“

“We celebrated my birthday at The Oak last night and had an amazing experience. Our server, John, was fantastic, and the Wright Flight cocktail is a must if you love gin. We loved the bone marrow starter, my husband’s ribeye was incredibly tender, and the confit duck tasted like fall on a plate. The Espresso Martini Affogato and peanut butter pie were perfect desserts. They even sent us home with mini banana breads! The Oak is officially my new favorite spot in Raleigh.“

“First time visiting this place for my birthday when I tell you 10 out of 10 the environment was very clean. The staff was very friendly and patient very polite. Our waiter was so sweet in the shelf cooked our food with so much love the plates came out nice clean to perfection. The environment was giving anniversary date night engagement birthday dinner. Candles was everywhere. Soft music playing. Listen it was a 10 out of 10. Food was great. I will definitely be going back. They also gave me a birthday card and a free appetizer. All of their staff signed the birthday card wishing me a happy birthday. Everyone was so sweet and friendly. I recommend this restaurant definitely one of Raleigh’s hidden gems I would say.“

“Our family loves coming to the Capital Grille to celebrate special moments or just to bring our friends out for good food and Excellent service. Max is the top server at this establishment. It's always a good time with him. Last visit, we met Bryan and he easily number 2. Food is always great, if it's not they'll fix it. Will continue to come here for food and fun.“

In frames, Wild West Shrimp, Fire Grilled T-Bone, Chop Steak, Filet Mignon and Renegade Sirloin... And a delicious Strawberry shortcake to end!

The service was a tad too slow and not responsive enough... That's the only thing this place could improve on... No complaints on the food front, though, and that's what matters eventually!“

“They literally made this one of the most special birthday’s ever for my boyfriend!!! Best service, best food, best table in the house!! It was absolutely amazing! We walked in and they delivered his favorite drink to him like requested. The raw oyster appetizer was incredible, calamari was fresh and delicious, crab dip was super (and we’re from Maryland and are picky with crab ? dip). The steaks were cooked perfectly (Pittsburgh style, medium rare) and the dessert was incredible! Cannot thank the team enough!!“

“Please change some of 20 curbside parking into handicap parking for a disabled veterans. Only 5 handicap spots always full but the 20 curbside pickup are always empty.“

“Service was fast and good. Soon as we stepped in, we were brought to a table. When the food was brought out, it looked incredible. The Ribeye had a little too much seasoning, but thats the only complaint. 10/10. In fact, it was good enough to where Im contemplating on going today for Thanksgiving.“

“I went to Firebirds in Morrisville for a work lunch and was torn between a burger and a steak. Then I noticed they had a steak burger on the menu The flavor was good but the steak itself was a bit tough for me. What really stood out was the service. The restaurant was busy but our server was incredibly attentive despite clearly having a lot to manage. She made sure we had everything we needed and I really appreciated her effort. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable and ideal for both work lunches and casual meals. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.“
