“Super cute cafe located conveniently in downtown Catawba. Vast coffee and tea selection, scratch made bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls and danishes. Enjoyed an amazing breakfast sandwich on a fresh jalapeño cheddar bagel this morning. Can’t wait to come back for lunch! Great space for meeting with friends or colleagues, catering and rentals available as well!!“

“I grew up in a small town and there was a diner run by a Dad and Mom and the kids. This was that diner. It consists of: give your order, grab your drinks, retrieve your meal when announced and bus your table. I loved it. The folks were kind and willing to tell me the history of a family run business since 1932. And my breakfast, heaped with goodness, for under $10. It all screams: welcome home.“

“Little disappointed in brookwood cafe today. The music was loud and inappropriate for a Sunday lunch after church where the Baptist and Methodist are competing to get to the line first. Employees looked as if they didn’t brush their hair and rolled out of bed to be there. Rude staff too. I guess it’s the world we live in now. The food is good but I was so distracted by the music and staff that I would rather just eat at home now. Kids don’t need to hear that music after church and I can’t believe the parents didn’t just get up and leave.“
