I had breakfast here with a friend, and I made the mistake of ordering an egg and cheese (yes, this was a bad pick on my part). My sandwich wasn’t appalling, but it was nothing special. I like the diner atmosphere, but the food didn’t match the vibe. It felt like something you’d get at the worst dining hall on campus, but it was 6 dollars.

In today's world, with franchise after franchise, it can be easy to forget what true hospitality feels like. When you visit Suttons, you have stepped back in time. This is an home grown American made private business. The service and quality of their food will always trump that of any franchise.
Support this business and family with your hospitality and I promise you will be returned the same southern love of NC!

at the time I was there, the menu prices did not match with the prices on the website.\n\nI had two hot dogs, fries, and cherry smash. Food was really good. It was not crowded initially, but 15 minutes later, it got busy and a more diverse crowd. I sat next to a jersey signed by Danny Green (sad to hear that he retired recently). It was a nostalgic experience. Last time I was here internet did not exist. \n\nWish they served Pepsi instead of Coca-Cola. Can you guess why : ) ?...
