“The Peking Duck with House Hotpot soup was too spicy for my taste, however the place seemed to be very popular - it was nearly full during weekday lunch time (we were only non-Asian people in the restaurant at the moment). We liked the scallion pancakes and the dumplings. Service was fast and great.“

“I visited Wheat today and had an amazing experience! The restaurant was very clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent!

I ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup and Salt&Pepper Pork Ribs, and both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, authentic, and reminded me of real Chinese food back home. Definitely one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants on 9th Street!

I also had a nice conversation with the staff and found out that they’ll be introducing Coconut Chicken next week! I’m really excited to come back and try it!
