My daughter and I visited for the 1st time for lunch on a Friday afternoon. They were already out of Oxtails, but it was only 12:30PM. The food is cooked to order, so there was a bit of a wait. The pork chops were seasoned and fried perfectly. The collards were on the salty side and the Mac & Cheese was bland.The star of the show for me was the cornbread. Listen, my wife and I for the first time ate at Big Tanks Soul Food Kitchen on Oct 31 2020 around 4:30pm. I ordered the wings with sweet potatoes and collards, my wife had the pork chops with Mac and cheese and cabbage. After we ate we both put our pajamas on and took a nap. People the amount of food and the quality of food is second to none. We will continue to support this establishment and recommend it to all our friends and family. I was at Concord Mills and was looking for somewhere different to eat so I found this place. I ordered the 10 piece wing meal. This was my first time here I didn't know they forgot my cornbread till I got home and looked at the to go menu and it tells you everything your supposed to get. So they lost a star for that especially when I was the only customer in the place when I got there.
