the chicken could use more flavor/ seasoning. the green tomatoes had more flavor and they were the best part. but it was all still pretty good, we got the plain jane sandwiches as the rest of the menu was doing a bit much
This is a classic fried chicken sandwich with great overall taste. The fries were cooked nicely. I think it depends on what you order here. I’m not a fan of pimento cheese so I just went with the standard fried chicken sandwich and was very pleased!
Located in Charlotte, NC inside of Optimist Hall. I ordered the Boxcar chicken sandwich with
Pimiento Cheese, Peach Slaw, House Pickles, Spicy Mayo. The chicken had a light crunch but was moist and flavorful. If I’m ever in the area I would definitely comeback!
