Amazing story and cool restaurant concept. Delicious elevated Italian with a cool vibe. Great tasting fresh ingredients. The service is outstanding as well. Don’t pass up on their brunch especially! The toast is amazing.

Some mixed feelings after having dinner here. We had high expectations, but the experience was meh.
We started with a couple cocktails, both were good.
The octopus itself was really good; tender, nicely charred and the tomatoes were perfectly sweet. However, the sundried tomato vinaigrette…while good on its own, was somehow too much and at the same time…too one dimensional or not doing enough for the dish. At times it felt too tart, and overpowered the octopus. We can barely taste the chili oil. Everything was lost in tomato.
Oysters were ok…again, the oysters were lost in the copious amount of toppings. Felt like a lot of bread crumbs and not enough oysters.
We had the chef special duck sausage rigatoni, which was the best dish of the night. Since the duck was presented in a sausage format, you can’t really tell that’s it’s duck without being told. So technically, it could have been any meat. All that to say, it was good.
The porchetta was a bit of a let down. While it was moist and flavorful, we expected a crispy skin and got tough rubbery skin instead. I assumed that at one point the skin may have been crispy, but through the reheating process…it became leathery? So, it was not as enjoyable as it could have been. There was also too much vinaigrette on the watercress salad, barely tasted the pepperiness of the watercress.
The worst dish of the night was the eggplant rollatini. Very bland…and mostly tasted like plain ricotta. It was questionable. We barely had any.
I don’t know if it was an off night. It seems like they had nice ideas that were not well executed.

If you're in Charlotte and looking for an incredible Italian dining experience, Ever Andalo is the place to go!
We started with the focaccia with ricotta, honey, and pistachios, which was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The grilled octopus was an absolute standout—hands down the best octopus I've ever had in my life. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it’s a dish I’ll be dreaming about for a long time. The pasta was perfectly portioned and seasoned, showcasing the simplicity and excellence of Italian cuisine.
To top it all off, we ended with the olive oil cake, which was moist, light, and utterly delicious—a fantastic finish to an impeccable meal.
Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. If you’re in Charlotte, do yourself a favor and book a table at Ever Andalo.

So many great options to choose from but the appetizers are a must. Had to get both the grilled octopus and the olive oil flight.

Highly recommend this place, amazing food and experience for my party of 10. Even though it’s a small restaurant, they did a great job accommodating the size of the party and even some last minute change ups. I appreciate that the tables were a nice size for sharing a bunch of food which is how my group usually dines out, and the restaurant didn’t feel cramped. Seasonal mocktail was insane 🔥 and the other Mocktails we had after also solid recommendation. Always appreciate a place with a legit mocktail program!! Server Nick did an amazing job and recommend the burrata, the beets, octopus and farrotto and mushroom pasta !
