First and quite possibly last visit. Got there tonight a little before 7 and there were only a few tables with people at them. We stood at the door for a few minutes before being acknowledged, and told to sit wherever we wanted. It was another 5 minutes before the ONE server came over and took our drink orders. We ordered a coke, a Diet Coke and 2 waters. We got a coke, Diet Coke and 1 water. No straws. One server, one bartender and looked like one cook on a Friday night.

McHale's Pub is a nice, authentic Irish-style pub and one of the higher quality pubs in the Charlotte area. The decor and menu are authentic. It easily serves the best fish and chips in Charlotte, with perfectly fried haddock, crunchy batter, and lovely flaky fish. The cheese leprechaun balls and sausage rolls are great, and the fish sandwich is delicious, fried golden brown, crispy, and hot. They serve Guinness and Magners in proper European pints. The service can be very talkative, nice, and super duper funny, providing a great experience.
