First time here. Wanted to see what it was hitting for today. I ordered the 2 piece fried chicken dark and small tater tots. 10 dollars for tots mind you. A drumstick and thigh 12 dollars. Tots were seasoned decently. Fried chicken however was not seasoned at all. A little overfried as well. 22 dollars for 2 pieces of bland fried chicken and tater tots to me is kind of ridiculous. Couldn’t order veggies because the only veggies they had was some 15 dollar Brussel sprouts. I’m disappointed because it seems that tater tots got more attention than my fried chicken. Oh well I tried it and this is my honest review. Atmosphere is nice. Staff is great. Food needs quality attention for customers. I’m sorry but I didn’t enjoy my meal here. Too pricey for what I received. Even sauce cost for the chicken which I didn’t understand. For an upscale restaurant, this is not acceptable to me. 22 dollars for basic food which ends up sub par due to lack of love to it. These reviews are not honest. But that’s why I had to check this spot out to give actual facts here.The chicken tastes like it was fried in fish grease.

We were glad we tried Haberdish while we visited Charlotte, as we wanted to have authentic Southern food. It didn't disappoint. We could tell this was a popular spot as it was really busy. The food was delicious and was beautifully presented. I especially loved how the fried chicken was prepared juicy and flavorful. The BBQ was so tender. The service was quick and professional. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My best friend and I enjoyed a spectacular brunch here yesterday (1/11/2026.) She recommended I experience it, as she had a great experience in the past. Our server, Max, certainly made our experience even better! Her recommendations, friendly energy and exceptional service were the cherry on top of a great meal. The food was dream-worthy! We both agreed that all aspects of our meal were 10/10. We definitely recommend checking out this restaurant; make sure you ask for Max!!!!!

I was there Saturday May 3 around 4:30 ish and left without eating. The staff had bad energy and they acted like they didn’t want to serve us. It was in the middle of the rainstorm Saturday and when we walked in they just Stared at us. We were not greeted like other patrons. The manager im assuming didnt make an effort after we stood there soak and wet from the rain storm we just walked out of. The server Andrew is very rude. When we decided to leave after not drinking our tea or water he rolled his eyes and walked off. He’s very unprofessional. I do not spend my money in places where I’m not respected or treated well.

This place is a local favorite. It has a cozy, southern atmosphere and fantastic food. The service was also on point- our waiter was very attentive. I had the sangria, fried chicken, kale salad, and Mac and cheese. Their chicken is to die for! I would HIGHLY suggest asking for some hot sauce- it’s house-made habanero.

Had an excellent time. Food was very good and the server was attentive and helpful. Had a reservation for 7 and were seated promptly, even when the restaurant was relatively busy. Cocktails were fantastic as well.

Nice low lit atmosphere, perfect for a date night. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was amazing. I was very impressed with the portion side, I thought it would be small plates. I took leftovers hime and I hardly do that. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem. Best friend chicken in CLT, get it Nashville hot! All of the sides are great, I personally love the hoppin john and collards. The tater tots melt in your mouth. Great place for celebrations, a date or just to have a snack and drink at the bar! This review was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Haberdish, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! Jeremy provided outstanding service—his recommendations were spot on, and he attended to us with great care and attention.
The fried chicken was absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy and flavorful. But the highlight for me was the Trout Dip; it was simply amazing! The combination of flavors made it a must-try. Overall, I highly recommend Haberdish for anyone looking for a fantastic meal and excellent service!

The ambiance and decor is really cool. The service was friendly and accomodating. The bar program is on point offereing cocktails, wine and beverages catered to everyone, and the food is simply amazing!! I would comeback again and again
