Delicious food and reasonably priced for a large portion. Juices were great too, the mango was my favorite. Highly recommend

I visited this restaurant with a friend for dinner. The food was disappointing, and the service was poor. The price was $30 for two people, which is too much for street food. I expected better quality food for that price.

“Incredible experience at Halal Street Food! The shawarmas are delicious and generously served, with an authentic flavor that really stands out. But my absolute favorite is the Chicken Over Rice: juicy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. If you’re looking for a quick, authentic meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!”

I recently ordered two falafel over rice and was not entirely satisfied. The falafel wasn’t well cooked, and there was less white sauce than I expected. Overall, the food was decent but not great.

So good. I overall probably won’t be a regular, because the location wasn’t my thing. I only came for early voting. But the people working were wonderful, food is super authentic and delicious. I would absolutely recommend to others and come back if I’m ever visiting this place again! They also do military discount for those who served which was really wonderful.

One the lamb in the combo plate isn’t fresh lamb it’s that nasty premade situation. Two I could’ve gotten past the fake lamb but hell every other bite I take I have to stop and pull a damn inedible onion skin out of my mouth. Definitely wasn’t worth the Uber eats fee nor what the plate costs. If you can’t even do simple things like separate the unedible part of the onion from the food what’s the point. Love the garlic sauce. This place has potential but idk I don’t think I’ll try it again. Chewing on onion skins kills the appetite.
It’s a hard pass. I ordered the lamb salad and my son ordered the lamb gyro. The meat tasted like chili. I don’t know what they were hiding with sauce or whatever that was. No personalities with the employees.

Stumbled on Camp North End while driving to a retail store on this side of Charlotte. Was SOOOO excited to see something different. Decided to stop by and try the food.
I'm a New Yorker and eating Halal is my thing. Unfortunately the experience at this restaurant fell flat for me.
Ordered chicken over rice.
1. Too much rice on the plate and not enough chicken.
2. Not sure what seasoning is used on chicken over rice but they went too far with it. I could taste more seasoning than chicken.
Customer service
Flat, unfriendly faces!! One guy just standing there with a zoned out look on his face. The guy who makes the plates says nothing to you and then the owner is asking you to pay at the register. They want you to pay for the food before they fix the plate. Came outside with my plate and that's when someone told me that the owner and workers are Dominican. Let's put this in perspective for a minute....Halal has its origins in Africa and then the middle east. In my mind someone from the middle east should be working at this restaurant and doing the cooking.
Would I return to buy food again? No!!! Why? Small portion size of chicken, too much heavy seasoning on the chicken and unfriendly staff.....I like for people to be smiling when I'm giving them my hard earned $$.

Overall, this is a great restaurant. It's located in the heart of Camp Northend. There's indoor and outdoor seating. On sunny days like today, I prefer to sit outside. The views are beautiful. The service was quick; decent prices. I had the chicken gyro. Very filling, but I wish the chicken had a little more flavor.

I can't speak to the quality of the food but the service is not good. I had an issue with a delivery order and the management was very rude, unhelpful, and hung up on me without reaching a resolution to my issue.

I’ve been to this spot a couple times and they always seem to leave something out off my order luckily I check it every time before I leave but it’s an inconvenience cause my order says ready but I still have to wait for whatever they left off my order
