I found myself craving chicken that was both tasty and affordable before I take off for my New York City adventure tomorrow. A couple of months back, I was suggested to check out Hubee D’s in Meyers Park. I'm all about supporting local spots, so I decided to check it out. Walking in, I was warmly greeted by a very friendly gentleman at the counter—who turned out to be Mark, the owner. 1st time here. Showed up early. Only one person working…Lulu. She welcomed me in - a beautiful smile. She let me order early. Delicious food but it was Lulu’s True hospitality that will bring me back.

Wings and nuggets still good but place looks like it is going out of business. Water machine out of order. Menu prices hand written and taped up on the menu. Paint peeling off the sign. Supplies stacked in the dining area. What is going on? Staff friendly and helpful but somebody needs to spiff the place up.
