Was a great restaurant. Only had pupusas a few times but these were very tasty. Food took a bit to arrive but I would assume it was made fresh. I wasn’t a fan of their horchata, I’ve only ever had Mexican horchata so I wasn’t familiar with Salvadoran horchata. Won’t be getting that again, it tasted like there was maybe cocoa or coffee in it? Anyways, that doesn’t take away from the restaurant, everyone has different taste buds
My friend Elaine was visiting from Massachusetts and was staying up the road and I drove down from Hickory and she treated me to lunch here. We had to brush up on our Spanish to order because the menu was in Spanish but we both enjoyed what we ordered. She got three different papusas and some spicy slaw. I got meatballs and rice with (refried?) beans and cabbage with no sauce and a slice of tomato and cucumber. We also got some pineapple turnovers. I would definitely recommend...read full review

Seems to eat here every time we come to CLT. Perfect location from the airport. Food has always been very tasty and delicious! I definitely recommend this little El Salvadorian restaurant.
