Lottie’s Café is a local favorite, often with a line out the door, but it grows and shrinks quickly. It is a clean, smaller place with a welcoming, queer-friendly community spot vibe. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the service is quick. Food and coffee are delicious. The coffee is high quality, made very well, with excellent espresso. Standouts include the Airplane latte, a unique Biscoff blend, and the Hugo Hash, which is artfully created and delicious. Kids loved the bagels, and the Avo toast is recommended. Portions are surprisingly small, but it is a great breakfast spot focused on quality and vibes. The location is great, close to the blue line and public transit, with fun 90s/80s shows on the TV.
