Maola Milk - Charlotte Branch

Purchase a half of gallon from Food Lion in Charlotte during the winter storm and open it this morning and it taste like strong alcohol.

Good Evening, I was not sure where to address our concerns but I wanted to come to your company directly. We have purchased your brand of milk for quite some time. A month or so ago, I bought a half gallon of whole milk, and the first few days it was fine. I am weird about spoiled milk, so I always smell it before I pour it to drink. When i did this, there was an absolutely putrid smell coming from the milk carton , I had my husband smell it and it was a rotten smell, not like a souring smell. So even though the milk was not expired or anywhere near expired, we dumped it out and thought it was a once off thing. I bought a half gallon of your milk again from the same grocery store 2 days ago, this time 2 %. Checked for a smell and there was not one. I opened it this evening, and again, the same pungent rotting smell coming from the opening where you pull the tab to open the milk. I am not sure if it is sitting at the store spoiling before they put it on the shelf or not, or if there is really something wrong with the milk cartons. I cannot explain the smell other than it is not that of sour milk, it literally smells like something is decaying. I wanted to make you aware, as the smell is gag worthy when you smell the milk to make sure it is not spoiled. I will unfortunately be tossing this milk as well but I wanted someone from your business to smell it or be made aware of it, as it is not normal, and a smell I have never experienced. We live in Chesapeake and shop at the Food Lion off Great Bridge Boulevard 23320. Please let me know what can be done as I know this cannot just be the milk we are buying. We try to support local business and is why we chose your brand over PET and the food lion brand. You may want to reconsider the way the milk is packaged. We have chocolate milk and I just smelled it, same putrid smell.

Half and Half is just milk and cream. Not Maola. They add Disodium Phosphate! Disgusting! I guess it’s cheaper for them but bad for the body! I poured a whole carton out after reading ingredients!

I have purchased four cartons of half and half as well as a quart of heavy whipping cream for use in my milk frother. I’ve never had an issue with your products not frothing until just recently. None of the recent purchases worked in my frother and all have a very chemical flavor and scent. It is not an issue with the frother as it was able to froth regular old milk in my fridge. What on earth are you adding to your product that is creating this problem!??? I’m staying far away from.

Best chocolate milk I ever had. I think I have tasted all the chocolate milk at Harris Teeter, Publix and Food Lion. I will go to Food Lion just for Maola Chocolate milk.

I just bought a half gallon chocolate extra rich milk from Food Lion. The cartoon was soo cold and I couldn't wait to get it home for a sip. I poured me a cup and to my surprise the milk was the most Disgusting and Awful tasting and smelling ever. I looked and it is dated for July 22nd.
