Enjoyed the food for the most part. Service is here is your meal. Do not expect a thank your for your patronage or please come back. That is why we stopped going there after numerous visits.

Best Mexican food in Charlotte. Been going here for 10+ years. It's still #1.

The worst Mexican food I've ever eaten! I ordered the beef tacos with Pico, green salsa, and beans. I added a side order of rice. The tacos came fully loaded with cilantro, which I hate and was never mentioned on the menu. The tacos came very, very cold. The Pico came mixed with the green salsa and not enough Pico. The food over all lacked the flavor, and the service was horrible as well. I had the older waiter who dropped my food and never came back. I was very concerned that this food was going to get me sick because it looked very unsanitary. I'm worried. I will never return again even if it is offered free of charge. Disgusting food and very, very poor quality restaurant

This place is grimy and nasty, so I thought the food would make up for it but it was the worst Mexican food I've ever had, and it was more expensive than most. I left very disappointed.

Good quality Mexican food. The chorizo enchilada was flavorful and nice portion size. The basic crispy taco had real cheese along with quality meat. And the poblano stuffed pepper was done perfectly, although I prefer them grilled versus fried (only breaded fried here is offered). And just for an americanized treat. Do some fried ice cream for dessert. They also have traditional Mexican desert dishes. Avoid the molcahete as the meats are dried out and tough.

The food was hot and that’s about it. The flavor wasn’t there. I’m from Texas so I’m used to a certain style of Mexican food, more flavor to say the least. I ordered a margarita too. It had no liquor, flavorless as well. A waste of money for sure.

Mediocre at best. Bland basic Mexican food. Bland. Basic. Find food elsewhere. It’s like eating food from the back of a shopping cart. Had to dump the bland salsa on it to give it some flavor. Ask owner for his recommendation. This was his choice. Blandness.
