I was very excited to try this place as there are no good bagels near Lake Norman. I was very disappointed today. I asked for my bagel to be double toasted and I don’t think it even went into a toaster. It was not toasted. In fact, it wasn’t even warm, how hard is it to toast a bagel so that it’s a bit crunchy?. The bagels are delicious which is the only reason I keep coming back here. The staff is horrible at this location. Next time I’ll have to drive all the way to south end because they are attentive. I walked in and stood in line for 10 minutes, only one other person with me in line before being acknowledged by staff. They were standing around eating their own bagels and chatting, and taking care of mobile orders but not paying any attention to physical customers in the store....read full review

Poppy’s has the best bagels in Charlotte by far. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is they are terrible at getting online orders right. I’m always short a bagel or the wrong cream cheese or something. It’s almost impressive how consistently off they are lol. Amazing bagels but triple check your order if you do online
