The food for a airport restaurant is very good .. the service could be faster at the door .. or the lack of sense of urgency.. we stood for a good 5 min. And the only people in line with plenty of tables ready . Last thing , this is the airport and prices are always higher .
Today we went over there and then we went to the other place after we went to the other place. Somebody told me that nobody was left since nobody was left. We left with somebody and somebody told us it was really good since somebody said it was really good, but nobody was there. We went ahead and went back home, but since nobody was there, there was nothing to fix so somebody was wrong. Anyway I hope anybody can do better than somebody.
I had a long layover between flights at the Charlotte Douglas Airport and was hungry. I found the Summer House a short distance from my gate. I asked if it was okay if I stayed a while and had my laptop open on the table. They said it was not a problem and gave me the perfect corner table to eat and work at. The food was excellent and the coffee was great. (As a writer, I live on coffee.) My server, Johana, was exceptionally considerate and took good care of me for the couple...
