Syn is a speakeasy in downtown Charlotte with a secret door and discreet entrance that creates a hidden gem experience. Inside, curtained walls and velvet touches offer a cool escape with an intimate, sophisticated atmosphere. The decor sets a cozy and intimate tone, perfect for a night out. Cocktails are excellent, well crafted, and reasonably priced for the level of craftsmanship. The concept of drinks inspired by paintings is a unique touch. Specific options include a Tokyo-inspired cocktail that leans slightly sweet and a dry, well-balanced gin drink. No food is available, only snacks and drinks. The music is top tier, and Johnni Bravo’s DJ set is amazing from start to finish. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and courteous, with standout service from bartenders who give great recommendations. Be careful in the bathroom, as the faucet is high pressure and the sink is very shallow. This spot is for adults and is definitely worth checking out.
