“I visited the restaurant in March of this past year and found I had neglected to write a review. Prior to visiting the restaurant I had never had Vietnamese cuisine but was thrilled to see what I was in for. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by the courteous greater and taken to a table. My server was this delightful younger gentleman who helped guide me to select a menu item he believed I would enjoy. I tried the banh mi (sandwich) which was an excellent blend of fresh vegetables such as cucumber and carrots, with pork. After this visit I plan to go back the next time I am in Charlotte and I suggest you do the same. ☺️“

I ate it in the parking lot in my car—I wanted a taste before I went back to work and ended up eating the whole thing like a mannerless beast. I’m not sorry, either. I would do it again. I am currently trying to get every last boba in my milk tea. It’s that good!! Go get some…now. Really, do it now.“

“This place should be more obvious because it was AMAZING. I usually go to the tea house across the street for banh mi but they are closed on Wednesday but I really had a hunger for one. This restaurant is literally right across the street. Don't let the appearance deter you, the most unassuming things and places can surprise you. i had the grilled pork and it was by far the best banh mi I have EVER had. If you are spending less than $10 (which is really easy to do) then bring cash for the courtesy of the owners so they aren't hit with stupid over charges. Otherwise cards are fine. Will definitely be coming back.“

The staff is always accommodating ( we added 4 extra people at the last minute), they were so friendly bringing up an extra table & chairs. I’m so glad I found this family owned restaurant to try today while I was out and about. 1368 Sweet Corner Cafe is a must try, the variety of food choices is unmatched compared to other similar restaurants in Charlotte so put this one on the list as a must try, especially if you are a Bánh Mi fan like I am!“

“This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. I got the vegan tofu dish and it was absolutely amazing. Everyone in the restaurant is so kind. Me and my husband are visiting from Atlanta and one of the servers took the time to tell us about the city! We came back twice during our stay in Charlotte because we really enjoyed the food and service.“

“Literally a gem of a find, the food was incredible. The Angry Cowboy was definitely a standout, as was the Kra Pow and Drunken Noodle. Service was fast, and we still had leftovers! The spice and herb profiles on each dish seemed carefully planned and attended to. Will be returning to this location ASAP!“

“I’ve had the Pho Dac Biet, Pho Tai, Pho Chin Nam, Pho Filet Mignon, Bun Bo Hue, Com Thit Nuong, Chicken and Shrimp Eggrolls, Sweet Chili Wings, and Crispy Garlic Tofu. Shoutout to the kitchen - food is always really good! I also like the Thai Tea. The food portions are always reasonable, and the broths are my favorite. Service the two times I dined here as a customer was fast and attentive. (As a server here now, I promise you we try our very best to give each customer the best customer service possible!) I like the decor inside as well as the outside experience, and the bathrooms are cleaner than most restaurants! I’ve worked here for about a month now, and I can see why we have so many regulars.“

“The service can get a bit slow due to traffic picking up around 7pm, the portions are a bit small for the pricing in my opinion, I have been to this restaurant at another location before and their BOGO Free just kind of seems like a scam... For 8 pieces the sushi is over $12 and at that point it is like one roll just pays for both rolls on its own without the sale, so it is just hidden behind a sale.... Some sushi is $20 and it is still not a lot of pieces or has a crazy amount of ingredients.

I make sushi myself, so this is quite disappointing how they charge so much per roll and try to slap a sale sticker on top. Not to mention how all of the pages on the menus say "NO EXCHANGE, RETURNS, OR REFUNDS" some even saying "NO SUBSCRIPTIONS". As a person that only eats chicken and fish ... It is not an accommodating place and I think that they are aware of how the policies and pricing is scam-like.

I had the Pad Thai to avoid the sushi, but.... It was less than standard in taste and quality.... My parner had the red curry udon. Everything tasted....fine, but the bamboo shoot, would taste much better in actual soups than the curry udon. Maybe it was the other ingredients... But the food just was lacking and tastes plain and bland, nothing to say "Oh, this is good!" Hopefully they eventually add more to their menu to make it something worth talking about.“
