This is my second time trying the food and it's a 3/5 the first time it was good,this time the food was good but very hot,the cashier wasn't clear about what I exactly wanted I ordered fried potato greens with rice as they don't let you get jollof rice,when I got to the restaurant my order was not done,I had ordered my order 30 minutes prior to me arriving, the chicken didn't taste fresh it was hard and I explained to the young lady I wanted turkey but again...
I visited Zanziber Café for the first time around 12:30. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and it’s a seat-yourself setup, which I liked. The customer service was really good, and the food came out pretty quickly.

I ordered the Palava sauce with white rice and fried fish. The food was seasoned excellent — full of flavor and cooked just right. My only critique is the rice — it tasted like Uncle Ben’s, and I would’ve preferred Jasmine rice instead.

The most authentic Liberian food in Charlotte, The palm butter is 5/5 so good. I will suggest only going on night shift due to quality and portion sizes. I’ve went during the day and my portions were smaller, the meat was sparse, and my fufu was lumpy sadly. While still being good, it’s just not the same quality I’ve gotten during dinner. Also think twice before eating inside the building , the music was too loud to hear the person in front of me and they had webs from lights....
