Pancakes in Cherokee, NC

“It started my Monday of National Park trail walking off perfectly! I appreciated the server’s patience as I narrowed down my cravings to a choice, and the suggestions she made so I got exactly what I wanted so far as number of pancakes and bacon (I’m big on trying not to waste food, but who doesn’t get a case of the I-want-it-all’s every now and again?) On the scale of diner coffee, theirs is great! The pecan pancakes are worth a second visit, and the blueberry syrup was delicious. The bacon was as perfectly cooked as the pancakes. I was honored to have breakfast with some locals at the counter, enjoying good tunes and good food watching a friendly crew do great work.“

“This was a last-minute stop before traveling. It's a great place to eat, but there was a big crowd and the line for the buffet kinda long. They had to keep refilling the station and at times we had to wait more than 5 minutes. What I ate was good, fresh, and hot. Bring some patience when visiting. This is a very popular place on Saturday. There were a lot of families. The waitstaff was nice.“
