The food is priced fairly and they give generous portions. It’s definitely not the healthiest option, but our family loves it as a treat!

Parking: This is located in a huge shopping center so it’s got plenty of easy parking. There are handicap spots as well, though they do seem in high demand.“

New Szechuan is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting, not just in Winston-Salem but anywhere! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the incredible aroma of authentic Chinese spices and dishes cooking in the kitchen. It’s enough to make your mouth water before you even sit down.

The food here is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish is crafted with such authenticity that it feels like a trip to the heart of China. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes to satisfy every craving—whether you’re a fan of spicy Szechuan specialties or prefer something milder like their stir-fried noodles or dumplings. I highly recommend their Kung Pao Chicken and Ma Po Tofu—absolutely bursting with flavor!

What really stands out is how affordable everything is. You can get a feast for a very reasonable price, which is rare these days for food of this quality. “This was our second time eating here. Both times the service was a little off. Items ordered but not delivered even after asking again. Celebrations happen very frequently. An average of four times during both of our visits. The celebrations are done with a giant firework lit at the table (not ours but all around us). The smoke in the air from all those fireworks gets super heavy in such a small space. The food is always amazing at least“

“I love their white rice and sesame tofu! I've had rice from a couple of Chinese fusion restaurants here in WS, and this rice is by far the best I've had. I ate here for lunch, and I couldn't eat anything else for the rest of the day I was so full. The whole dish was about $12. Totally worth it, it was delicious! “I've ordered both online (for delivery) and in person. Both times the food was delicious, and plenty to eat. I am so happy that the Jade Express has come to Winston-Salem. The lady that served me the other day was an absolute joy.

“The lady that takes the orders is so nice , I love talking to her. You have to have the egg rolls, They are the best egg rolls I've ever tasted in the entire North Carolina. Sometimes we go to the grocery store. We stop by and just get egg rolls. The food is always fresh and home. The wings are good but I wish they had more seasoning. This is the only Chinese restaurant that we go to.“

“One of my favorite restaurants and definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant. I've never gotten bad food here. It's always been delicious and the girls up front at the cash register are always friendly and happy. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.“

“This used to be my favorite place on the nights when cooking was not an option. But sometimes the workers can be a little unfriendly and slightly hostile. Although the food is great the service can really put a damping on the overall experience. And even though I have moved in to another restaurant I still like to get a meal from this establishment every now and again. Like with everywhere else the prices have definitely increased over time but it still worth the great taste of the food. I would give this 4.5 rating but it doesn't do a half star so I'll go ahead with a 5 star rating. Not to mention the hours are great for those who may work late.

“I really enjoy dining here, this is a regular spot for my husband and I. We have also had our family and friends try Peking as well, and they enjoy it too!
