I used to really like this restaurant but I called in an order tonight and when I got home with my food and checked my bank account I discovered that somebody added a $4+ tip that I did NOT authorize. I don't mind paying for good food, but don't steal from me. Check your receipts folks because these folks cannot be trusted
This was my birthday dinner with my BFF and we ordered take out/delivery. We received two big bags of chips and a small cup of salsa that was gone after about 5 chips. I ordered the special fajitas and there were more onions and green peppers than chicken, steak, and shrimp combined. Food was bland with no task- even the peppers and onions. Portions were good for everything except the salsa but the taste was not worth the money.
This is my favorite restaurant in Kernersville with no question about it! The food is always incredible, the staff is so friendly and I eat from here at least 1-2 times a week. Every dish Ive tried is delicious as well, its never a miss.
Their delivery is also great as they dont skip on portions like many restaurants do for take out and delivery.
I highly recommend Monte De Rey to anyone in the area
