I was pleasantly surprised that the service was exceptional. The food was also exceptional. We had omelettes with home fries. The home fries were out of this world. The Pineapple Chipotle house Margarita was so refreshing. It had a beautiful cloudy color that popped with the pink sugar rim. Definitely getting that again. I came for Tacos but their brunch menu looked delicious too. I hear the avocado toast with Birria is special. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the music and scenery. It's bustling and the selection of tequila is vast.“

“This place is horrible. the sauce on the pizza taste like that sauce from canned chef boy r d ravioli. The cheese is... well im not sure what the "cheese" is. I got a giant cookie that looked like burnt plastic and tasted worse. I got 2 slices and we were on our way to a game so we asked for a box and they said no. They have better pizza at the QT Gas station. I will never go back here!!! I also don't know why it says I recommend this place cause I certainly do NOT!“

“Wow! We've eaten here before but it's been a while. Very impressed. Friendly waitress (Makenzie), I had the 2 meat platter - ribs and smoked turkey (or you can get 3) with 2 sides and hush puppies. The ribs were fantastic! Moist (yes,I said moist) and flavorful. Some for the best baby back ribs I've ever eaten!! The smoked turkey breast was served in aluminum foil and guess what -- it was moist too! Baked beans were saucy with bits of BBQ meat mixed in. Mashed potatoes had bits of skin mixed in. Cornbread and hush puppies were good. Husband had the 1/4 chicken and ribs. I love where this place is located - close off 85. I don't have to fight Bruton Blvd/Charlotte traffic. They have a train that circles a track attached to the ceiling 🚂- very cute. They do have a senior/child's menu. We will definitely be back.“

“Despite Good Food, We Won’t Be Back A dozen adult family members from across the Charlotte and Concord areas gathered at The Mill to celebrate two family birthdays. We all ordered food and drinks from the vendors, and the experience started off well. In place of birthday cake, the two birthday girls had requested homemade lemon bars. We placed them on the table alongside the food and beverages we purchased from the vendors. While we were still enjoying our meal, a representative from The Mill approached our table and informed us that “outside food” was not allowed and we had to either remove the dish or leave. We understand and respect general policies regarding outside food, but this situation called for some discretion and basic courtesy. The lemon bars were clearly not a competing item—they were a personal, celebratory gesture. The birthday girls were disappointed, and the family member who made the lemon bars was embarrassed and hurt. Passing out Lemon Bars in 100° heat in the parking lot is just not the same. This action came across as inflexible, uninformed, and inconsiderate. It reflected very poorly on the management. Although our food and service was great, none of us plan to return. When I emailed Gibson mail detailing this story, I received the following reply: Dear Barbara, Thank you for your message. We will give this matter the consideration it deserves. “Some of the cashier's have bad attitudes and the Hispanic waitress has a bad attitude she pick and choose who she wants to assist at the table and expects a tip I am big on tipping if the service and food is good. Some days you go and the food is delicious and some days the chicken is salty and dry and not to mention the fish.They need the old cooks and workers back that when the food was delicious. Y'all need to get it together Concord NC.“

“We had our team bonding/meeting here on Wednesday and our waitress Anna was the sweetest! She checked up on us regularly and everything came out perfectly. We ordered apps, 2 large pizza, every stylist had a drink or 2 and it came out to well under $200!!!! We highly recommend afton pub and will definitely be back!“

Was offered outdoor or bar seating, chose the bar, but was it wasn’t what I expected. Noticed most of the other people coming in had to sit at the bar also.
