“Taste Full Beans has been around the Hickory area for quite some time. Offering up many different beverages, ice cream, and even vegan food options! Granted, I've never had the chance to try their plant based selections- it's a great idea because not too many places in the area offer things like tempeh! I can vouch for the flavor of their coffees, and they have a good selection of syrups and flavors as well- however, the matcha was not it. I think it was WAY too watered down, didn't pack a punch, and as my husband described it "tasted like matcha flavored water." I would love to try another matcha because maybe whoever made ours wasn't experienced, but both of our drinks definitely needed more matcha powder so we were pretty disappointed! As far as the service goes, the employees are insanely sweet. You can tell they are back there working super hard, and care about their customers. The atmosphere of the restaurant as a whole is really fun- good vibes, live music, lots of laughs and conversations. It's a great place to go to hang out, but I wouldn't recommend trying to study here! Come relax, enjoy the music, your coffee and a good chat!“
“Enjoyed our lunch there so much. The servers were extremely nice. The food was delicious, and there were great choices for both vegans and non vegans alike. Best homemade potato salad I've had at a restaurant.Although we did not have beer this time, they had an amazing selection, including local Brews. It's a little dark when you first come in from the outside, but other than that, I have nothing negative to say at all. “This is a wonderful town. If you wish to keep it that way I would highly recommend rejecting Andy Poteat’s application for chief of police. Hiring him would be a HUGE mistake. I worked with him for many years and have seen how he operates. Retired Law Enforcement“
“I grew up in a small town and there was a diner run by a Dad and Mom and the kids. This was that diner. It consists of: give your order, grab your drinks, retrieve your meal when announced and bus your table. I loved it. The folks were kind and willing to tell me the history of a family run business since 1932. And my breakfast, heaped with goodness, for under $10. It all screams: welcome home.“
“Food is ok but it is not a cafe and arcade !It is a diner only I went there to eat and play a game. Dodge this place if you are thinking neat I can grab a burger and play pac man.Brief interaction with the owner after eating there back to back days as I am leaving, I ask a question as I am walking out and the owner gives a look to one of her worker's behind my left shoulder that gave me the feeling I should find somewhere else to eat that final day I was in Hickory. So I ate somewhere else the next day .“
“The BEST fried chicken in town!! They also have a nice buffet and run specials daily except on Sundays! They serve breakfast and lunch.Vegetarian options: Corn, squash, greenbeans, cabbage, okra, peas, mashed potatoes and plenty more.Parking: Huge parking lot that is ALWAYS packed on Sunday's after church.“
“Kind of reminds me on an upscale Panera Bread. We arrived at open, so I think the service was a little light, not bad, I think they were just getting going. We had a couple breakfast sandwiches that were good. And I saw many treats that looked great, so I'll be getting some of those in the future. We also enjoyed a couple of lattes that were delicious. Caramel and vanilla. Over all a pleasant experience“
“I got a double cheeseburger all the way and wow it was ridiculously good! Honestly the best burger I think I've had in Catawba county, super cheesy and not so loaded with other stuff that you couldn't taste the meat. I haven't been in over a decade, but I will certainly be going back often!“
