“This quaint restaurant located in a charming town..easy quick 5 minutes off the highway..2 minutes back on...soooo WORTH the stop. Soooo fresh, large portions, the Ruben and Chicken salad are some of the best we have had. The staff were Hometown friendly..great atmosphere with a beautiful lake view to sit outside if you choose. Coffee was great- try their roasted Brainstorm!! And to boot they are part of a non-profit group called HOLY ANGELS supporting and providing employment opportunities for the differently able. loved it all!“

Their $9.99 daily combo is just perfect for a quick bite and you can get it as a salad or wrap as well. Give them a try if you are on the eastern side of Gaston County.“

“I had one of the best dining experiences I've ever had at Olive Garden thanks to our amazing server, Nina. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. She checked in at all the right times without ever hovering, and she carried this calm, positive energy that made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Nina knew the menu like the back of her hand, she gave great recommendations, made sure everything came out fresh and hot, and even caught small details before we had to ask. You can tell she really cares about her guests and takes pride in her job.
What stood out the most was her kindness and consistency. Even when the restaurant got busy, she never rushed us or let her service drop. That level of professionalism is rare these days, and it made our visit feel special.
If you visit this Olive Garden, ask for Nina. She turns a regular dinner into a memorable experience. Give this woman a raise.“

“Shoutout to Cole on lunch shift making sure my order was correct and very very patient with me and my party as I rarely eat at Chik fil A, everything was so fresh to taste and made with perfection and the tenders are so so crispy and have a sweet after taste.

“I was ordering via DoorDash but didn’t see gluten free bread as an option. I called the store and they confirmed they did have it and would let the kitchen know to look out for my order so they would know to substitute the regular bread with gluten free bread at no extra charge.

“I’m not usually a review person, but had to leave a review for Tiffany at the Gastonia Blaze Pizza. My family has pizza night every Friday and my son has a dairy allergy. Tonight I made the mistake of ordering our pizzas while I was distracted by my toddler and accidentally selected “add mozzarella” to one of our dairy free pizzas. Instead of just making the pizza as ordered, Blaze called me immediately to make sure that we wanted we wanted vegan cheese AND mozzarella, which obviously we did not! I know it probably sounds dramatic to put it like this, but she saved pizza night with that phone call! Thank you for caring about your customers!“

“Have not been here in a long time due to bad experiences. we used to love Zaxbys. I always like to go back and give a place another try. The food and service had gotten so much better! I am happy to report we will be using this place as ome of our go toos again. Yeah!!“
