Hadn't been here before but we have driven by it for years. Decided to take my wife out for date night there. Flatiron did not disappoint. She had the short rib, I had the NC trout. Flatiron Kitchen & Taphouse is one of my favorite spots in Davidson. The vibe is cozy but still feels a little elevated, and you can tell the food is made with real care. Everything that comes off their wood-fired grill has amazing flavor, and the seasonal dishes are always fun to try. Their wine, beer, and bourbon selection is great too — you can tell they actually put thought into it.
