Usually I don't have problems with this place unless it's with staff but this is disgusting. I barely took two bites out of my food when my husband showed me the worm he found in his food. Being pregnant and going out to eat is a risk I take everyday but this is just horrifying. I was so disgusted I couldn't even continue eating and neither could our nephew or my husband, of course. Japan, you need to do better. The Asian waitress didn't even want to get me the manager either she just acted like this was normal.

Our usual Japanese restaurant has never opened their dining room since Covid, so it is nice to have a place where you can eat off of a plate instead out of a Styrofoam box, so I appreciate Japan for that. Our entrees were good but where most places come with a soup or salad, here they are extra and a simple salad of lettuce and carrot strips is $3 extra. Also we were charged $1.50 for an additional small shrimp sauce, which I thought was excessive. So I'm on the fence about Japan - entrees are good, but be prepared to be nickled and dimed while here.

Food was pretty good. Kinda higher end pricing. Presentation was good. Sushi was ok. Good but not the best. Slow on refills...staff friendly though. Didn't like door opening near us for staff to hand out drive through food constantly with freezing air. overall ok.

We have been to this place a few times last night was a big mistake the staff only seated us but about 20 mins before someone came over to us needless to say they never asked us was anything we needed another 15 mins passed we finally got food needless to say no chop sticks no soy sauce for our sushi and no sauce bowls we had to ask and I got up and got them no return to check in us no sweet tea and coke products the worst experience I have had customer skills not even the manager their was joking with staff I would hate to see them in a rush we want be returning here no time soon and a price of $46 Thai pieals From Walmart would fair be better

Great price, fast service, great food for price. And you whiny crybaby karens need to get a life. Yawl just love to complain just to complain. Ive been here a dozen times in the last 6 months, and never had an issue. Even if i did, who cares, life happens. Move on.
Terrible food and if you order to go they just throw it in the bag. Also if you order sushi make sure you tell them to not put it in the same bag as the hot food.

We ordered dinner. Hibachi steak and steak with scallops. Some bratty girl took our order over the phone.. i would imagine it was the same girl who was rude when we picked it up as well. Customer service is nonexistent here. When we started eating my husband found metal shard in his rice. Maybe from a can? I'm not sure. Doubt I'll ever go back, not worth the hassle or the possibility of going to the hospital.

I am really surprise about all the bad reviews for this place! We recently moved to the area, and are trying restaurants one by one. I am loyal to yelp, and when I saw the stars we almost did not visit, but we decided to give it a shot! One of the reasons I wanted to is because it has 100% sanitary rating! And you never really see that anywhere! The restaurant is no frills. It is not going to be the hibachi place that has the flames go flying in front of your face. But, it is inexpensive for what it is, and tastes pretty good! They have hibachi, sushi, and all of the appetizers that most Japanese places have. The restaurant is clean, and well taken care of. The portions are very big! I got the low-carb chicken, and had plenty for the next day. I I did see people complain on here about orders not being right. Our orders were correct with the exception of the sauces we ordered were wrong, as well as I asked for no carrots and I was still given carrots. If you are not looking for a fancy experience, check this out. They also have a drive-through, and you can order online as well!

We have gone to this restaurant off and on for a few years. I am disappointed in what I found in my hibachi chicken tonight. It was some type of plastic that reminded me of a twig I called the restaurant asked if there was an email that I could send a picture of what I found. The manager offered a credit for the meal that I was unable to eat. Instead of refunding the meal. I really find that not acceptable so I just will not be going here again be careful and look at your food.
