“We ate dinner there on a Monday, 9/25/23 while on our 50th anniversary vacation. We chose the outdoor seating. My wife got the vegetarian tacos with a side of sweet potato tots. I got the fried shrimp tacos with a chef’s side of maple balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts. The food was fantastic and a big thanks to our server, Eliza C., who was super! “This time up on the plate was Peters Pancakes& Waffles. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot near WCU in Cherokee, NC, Peter's Pancakes & Waffles is a must-try. The "Ranch Hand Breakfast #3" is a hearty meal with perfectly cooked potatoes, flavorful country ham, and fluffy pancakes. The pancakes were a pleasant surprise – light, fluffy, and topped with a generous scoop of butter. With ample parking and clean restrooms, it's the ideal place for a satisfying breakfast. We went on a Sunday, you should anticipate a 30 min wait.

“We had two signature items from the menu that we have had many times. Not up to par this time (9-21-22). French onion soup was like warm. Mediterranean appetizer over browned. Italian pasta salad needed more oil and grated cheese. The added tofu was practically burnt and flavorless.“

“The food was fantastic, the beer was delightful, and the staff was spectacular! Our bartender Allison, who recommended the Cuban, which was easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten, was super rad! They were killing it, taking care of everybody and the beer was top tier. “We were there in February 2023. We found this way after a long trip to the food court which was closed! After being disappointed the food court was closed the Strikes Lounge more than made up for that. The beer cost less than inside the casino and super close to the areas we were playing in AND you can take your beer from there to the casino. The food we had was hot tasty and very inexpensive. Our server was so personable and checked in on us every time she was walked by (which was very often). We were well cared for and tipped very well. This is now our go to for beers and food.“

We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, which was very reasonable for a busy Friday. We were greeted promptly, received our drink order quickly, and our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our food arrived hot and was exactly how we ordered it. One minor complaint was the queso was very runny and would pretty much drip off of the tortilla chips back into the bowl or onto the table. It tasted fine, but was very thin. Overall, a great experience and we'll be back.“

“We had a great experience at Guy’s restaurant! The place was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and our food was fresh and delicious. Portions were big. The bacon Mac and cheese burger was delicious! The burger hung way off the bun and the onion straws were a nice addition. It was my birthday, so I indulged in the cheesecake. Dude! They gave me a whole half!!! of cheesecake that came with potato chips and pretzels on it, drizzled with chocolate syrup. Potato chips were a bit odd, but the pretzels were awesome on it! ?❤️ Our waiter was very kind, the bus boy was very busy cleaning up after people and when we finished, he immediately came over and offered to take our plates.
