“The shrimp with cashews is my favorite. I’ve had it at other places in Goldsboro but other places have so much “fillers”. Here you get a large portion and the shrimp are large. I never liked hot and sour soup until I had it here. Plus, staff are so kind and so friendly. It is the only Chinese place I go to now.“

“Southern Ground is an amazing business! I spilled my drink in my car, came back to pay for a new one, and they gave me the drink for free. It made me tear up and definitely made my day, for sure!! Thank you guys so much for what you do. As a UMO student myself, I will be choosing Southern Ground over Starbucks any day when I need a pick-me-up for school. Once again, you guys are FANTASTIC! Thank you! ❤️“

“Had lunch here today and the food was amazing!! It's the second time we have been there for lunch and the food does not disappoint!! The clam chowder is to die for, I need the recipe lol. Had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing!! Our server Josh was very attentive and friendly!! His customer service skills are excellent!! Wonderful atmosphere and amazing food!!“
