OooWeee this is some of the best I've ever had hands down. I came here after a TikTok food reviewer claim Backyard BBQ to be the best in the Raleigh/Durham area. I ordered the Yams, Brisket plate, Mac & Cheese, Greens, hush puppies, Pulled Smoked Turkey and Baked Beans. Bayyybayyyeee!!! When I the food is hitting it's on point. I don't eat meat but their sides are really really good. I especially really love the baked beans. The inside could stand some remodeling but the food is on point.Vegetarian options: They do have a veggie plate.

Love this spot! Hadn't been in years with COVID and the recent renovations, but let me tell you...IT'S STILL BANGING!!! Food on POINT, staff on POINT, and the place is looking good from the reno! I had the BBQ plate with Mac and cheese, cabbage, and hush puppies; it was delicious! I had enough BBQ left to bring to work for lunch! This a Durham GEM that deserves our continued support!
