the staff is exceptionally kind! the lady at the register, Janina, was helpful and knowledgeable about the suggestions for my drink. i ordered a matcha latte, my favorite drink from coffee shops, and i ain’t gone lie, it was pretty mid. in layman’s terms, it was not good. the matcha is always a bust, but they have lovely pastries!

Had a great experience this morning grabbing coffee and pastry and then working from this location! I got there around 8:50am on a Friday and there were plenty of seats but by about 9:30am the place filled up with other working professionals/students. I had Dr. Durham latte and a morning bun (puff pastry covered with cinnamon sugar). Loved both. I'll ask for my Dr. Durham extra hot next time :) The place has an awesome vibe. Loved the board with community events. Staff is friendly. Good selection of coffee and pastries. Wifi was fast. I'll be back to chill and/or work from here in the future, might be my new favorite coffee shop spot!

Delicious espresso, 4th dimension coffee is a real gem**Edit - went to location on Geer St today and the lattes were fantastic, cups had my name written super cutely, it was great. Thanks to the great baristas working 2/26 around 4pm!

Absolute horrible service. Ordered 3 hot chocolate and churros3. They only brought 2, we asked about the 3rd and the employee left. 12 minutes later, I had to ask about the 3rd hot chocolate again. I watched as they finished and started other drinks before making mine. This is why I HATE TIPPING when you order, you give people permission to give horrible customer service with bad attitudes, and they still keep your money. I would recommend drinking out of a toilet before wasting your money here.

An interesting spot for very good coffee which is roasted in house. Very little inside seating in the downtown Durham location but plenty of outdoor space. Their kakawa drink is an interesting experience I would recommend for a change of pace. As with many small coffee shops, the staff could probably up their customer service skills a bit. Aloofness is not a great tip motivator.
