We went there today and saw a sign in the window indicating it was permanently closed (another restaurant is coming in under new ownership -- I think it might be a Chinese restaurant). It was a sad day. We loved this place. :(
Literally still eating but had to rush to leave a review because it’s THAT DAMN good! The pork chive dumplings and chicken dumplings are so flavorful. I recommend trying this place out. Plus, very friendly customer service!
Great place for lunch. Shrimp balls and pork belly buns were excellent; standout dessert for us was the sweet creamy salt egg sesame ball. Service was courteous and prompt, and we appreciated the large glasses for water. We’ll definitely be back!
A handwritten sign on the door says they are only open Friday–Sundays from 11–9.
Dimsum Asian Bistro is a hidden gem that serves authentic and delicious dim sum. This classic hole-in-the-wall restaurant offers a wide variety of options, including the popular #9 Steamed BBQ Pork Bun, #15 Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce, and #32 Turnip Cake with Curry Sauce. The food is always homemade and fresh, made to order, which ensures great quality. Although they are only open three days a week, the attentive service makes up for any long waits. While the atmosphere is dim and the service can be abrupt, the food is cooked to perfection and is definitely worth a visit. The dim sum is handmade, which can lead to some inconsistency, but it is always delicious. Customers appreciate that they sometimes receive extra treats with takeout as a sign of thoughtful service. Be prepared to order upfront, as re-orders are not allowed. Despite some minor drawbacks, the restaurant's authentic cuisine and great food make it a must-try spot.
