I love coming into Flowers. They are always so welcoming. The bread selection can be vast or slim depending on the day and time you arrive. If you arrive on a "slim" day, ask the employees which day and times you should arrive to have a greater selection. ?
I always stop here on the way back from a trip to the Durham Waste Recycling Center and I swear, if I didn't live all the way across town I'd get here more often because the prices are so good! Whether it's bread, a baked good treat, or chips, everything is always fresh and at a discounted price. This time I found some bagels made by Dave's Killer Bread company which are organic and made with non GMO whole grain ingredients. Two packages of bagels for $4 was a deal, I thought!...read full review

Great place to pick up a loaf of bread at a good discount. I often pickup Dave's bread and maybe some pita or hot dog buns here. The rest of the stuff may or may not be a good deal. Some things like the canned goods and soups are waaay too expensive. The snack food can be a good deal on most days.
