As others have said this is a hole in the wall place, located at a gas station, next to a convenience store. It is small inside, but has several booths & tables. My server was friendly. Food came out promptly.
I ordered the Castillas De Puerco En Salsa Verde - Pork ribs in green sauce. They were great!

This place is a hidden gem. We just started coming here for lunch after kayaking on the lake. Lisa is the best and the food is exceptional. Very reasonably priced lunch items. It is now one of our favorite Mexican food venues.
The have excellent Chicken dishes! I had the rice and chicken and the flavor and sauce was perfect. The flan was okay but I don't think it was homemade unfortunately. The service was great too! The kept bringing me drinks and salsa for my chips.

Mi Barrio is a cozy Mexican restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. The choripollo and grilled shrimp are highly recommended, with excellent seasoning and attention to detail. The fajitas are well-seasoned and generous in portion size, while the mole and huarache are also standouts. Despite its small parking lot, the restaurant's charm and flavors make it worth the trip.
