I am gluten free and my husband had planned ahead and knew that Smallcakes did GF cupcakes. When we went to order on Door Dash it wasn't an option but we called and the sweet girl working was SO helpful. Excellent custom service! She made getting my birthday cupcake possible! :) She walked us through our options, instructed us to order and then call and she would make sure to do the right ones GF. Purchased 12 cup cakes for an even and they were absolutely delicious. The icing wasn't too sweet. The almond cake was moist and full of flavor. I can't wait to taste other flavors!
I loved the atmosphere and customer service was good. I got the lemon drop and rum raisin cupcakes. I was a little disappointed that the icing on the lemon drop cupcake didn’t have any lemon flavor. Not saying the icing was bad…just expected more lemon flavor. The cupcake itself was really moist. The rum raisin cupcake was really good. I will go back and try more flavors.
