First time and from out of town stumbled on this ice cream shop and must say one of the best hot fudge sundaes I’ve had in long time. Got the vanilla/ cookies n cream flavor. Hot Fudge was real deal ice cream was air tight dense so good. Tasted like premium top grade cream curious to know if ice cream uses eggs in it.
High quality ice cream with friendly staff and unique flavors. They only had one chocolate-based flavor, so if you love chocolate this may not be the most exciting option (although the flavor was good!). The prices are reasonable for downtown Durham.
The ice cream gets 5 stars, but the customer service from one particular scooper, a young lady who frequently wears a baseball cap, T-shirt and jeans (works at lot of Parlous JR. And parlour downtown sometimes) is atrocious. We moved to Durham a year ago to the apartments at 810 across the parlour jr location.
