I have been twice this week. The food is so good! Not sure why the reviews are negative. Some of the best jerk and soul food I have had in Durham!

Where's the Jerk? offers delicious food worth the wait, with Collard Greens, sweet potatoes, Mac and cheese, oxtails, and potato salad that get better each visit. The oxtail rasta pasta and jerk chicken are standout favorites, with authentic flavors like thyme stem in the food surprising even West Indian customers. Customers note the portions are generous, and the flavors are flavorful and fresh, making the meals a great value. Some reviews mention that the wait time can be lengthy, and the service may sometimes feel unwelcoming, but the quality of the food keeps customers coming back. Many are willing to wait hours to enjoy well-made dishes and return regularly. The restaurant is highly recommended for those who appreciate authentic Jamaican cuisine and are patient enough to wait for a satisfying meal.
