“Good old-fashioned, handmade smash burgers! Throwback to the past, and I recommend going even if you have to drive a bit. You can call ahead, I’ll include pictures of the takeout menu. It’s best to have your mapping software lead you there, I included a picture of the convenience store, which can be your landmark to find it, as the restaurant is a storefront at the end. No profanity allowed and cash only. Very friendly people that will speak to you.“

“Excellent food and service around 12:30 yesterday! We had a flounder/shrimp platter with fried okra, a porkchop plate with white rice, fried okra, a mushroom Swiss burger with fries and a salad and a chicken fried steak plate with double mashed potatoes and fried okra. The only complaint was the white rice. It was definitely instant rice. That's never appetizing. We're Filipino and know good rice. This wasn't it.“

“This place is great! Ms. Betty and her coworker as she affectionately called little bit were a great team! Protect Ms. Betty at all cost, she’s a true gem. We had pancakes, grits, eggs, patty sausage and toast. All was cooked to our request and didn’t miss a beat. “This was the biscuit chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I haven’t had it in over a decade since I’ve moved out of state, but I’ve been talking this place up since I’ve left and haven’t had a single bad experience from any of the 30+ times I’ve gone here. It’s temporary closed now, but when it opens back up, I highly recommend stopping by here for breakfast!“

“We just drove back into NC from Georgia and it was so nice to have food well-made and fresh again. This is a nice little place with a small well-made selection of options. I had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and cabbage. I could taste the fresh ingredients. My partner had a double cheeseburger and the best french fries. The fries were Crisp and delicate. I stole several.
The restaurant's name was different than Google, but it's the same place.“
