Tried and true, delicious sushi. This place serves excellent food and was here before everyone on Earth decided it was cool to eat sushi.

No frills Japanese restaurant that I have been completely & truly enjoying since BEFORE 9/11.
The ambience has never changed & I take great comfort in walking in and ordering the steaming miso soup, a side salad, tempura veggies & my most favored dish. It's akin to visiting an old friend you haven't seen in awhile, and you pick up right where you left off!
Service is very prompt, courteous and always helpful if you're interested in trying a dish or side you've never tasted before.

All emphasis is on the cuisine(succulent, & truly authentic) and the ever stellar service. No matter if I sit at the sushi bar, dine in, or take out, the food is always what I seem to need & ever delectable!

This has been my favorite place for sushi for some time. My whole family, and friends that try it, all agree it’s the best place around for this style food. If you want a show with some hibachi, they don’t do that, it’s just, better food. I try and go here at least once a month.

Passing through the area & based upon a previous review, we decided to try this restaurant. The exterior with a small basic neon sign on in the window & a rectangle sign above was all you can see from the exterior. We arrived at 5pm and parked in a public paved lot across from the restaurant. 3 tables of four were occupied as we were seated with total seating for about 60. Our drink order was taken. The miso soup i saw on a nearby table was about a 2” x 3”bowl. 1 bowl i received had a 1/4” cube of miso & 4 pieces of scallion while the 2nd had none! The hot sake was warm & good and the small kirin ichibar beer was enjoyed. Seaweed salad was delicious & served in a triangular shape like a tree. The yasai gyosa appetizer had 5 pieces filled with pork/carrot lacked flavor. My partner liked his tuna teriyaki & his appetizer sashimi. Total bill was under $70. If we visit the area again we would try other offerings.

Came here with my wife while driving through town and we’re glad we chose this restaurant. The street-front entrance is unassuming, thus you might drive by and miss it. Inside the ambience is modest but pleasant, and numerous other guests were already dining on a Monday evening at 6:30 - a good sign that this place is popular with locals. Service was friendly and efficient. Menu options were plentiful, and we settled on Tonkatsu (a crispy-fried pork cutlet w/special sauce) and Salmon Teriyaki. Each was served with a bowl of Miso soup, a side salad w/ginger vinaigrette dressing, and a bowl of steamed rice. Portion sizes were generous and prices were reasonable, especially considering all you get. Quality was terrific - we loved our meals and left quite satisfied. Highly recommended.
