“Our church pre-ordered bulk breakfast biscuits and hash browns for the teachers and staff to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week at Orrum Middle School. I have to give a big shout out to Fairmont's McDonald's and their managers, Mr. Kevin and Ms. Chasity. Mr. Kevin's helpfulness and patience with me as I ordered, his friendliness and overall great attitude has to be recognized. Even though he was not there when I picked up the order this morning, he made sure Ms Chasity had our order In place and completed and ready when I arrived. One of the workers(I didnt get his name) even assisted me with taking order to my truck. Food was delicious!! Even had a bag of prepackaged jelly and mustard, as well as napkins. So thankful for the Fairmont McDonald's and their kindness and help this morning. Well done, McDonald's staff!!! Thank you!!“

“I was in town to attend an event at the library and saw that this restaurant was nearby. I had really great service from the young lady who was working and it was like she could read my mind with everything I wanted to try. From the blueberry lemonade that wasn’t overly sweet to the amazing pork and collard rolls, I was not disappointed. Not pictured was the fresh browning I had at the end. Reasonable prices. Definitely want to come back!“

“My first time visiting Jay's Country Kitchen, and I was EXTREMELY pleased. The waitress, Liz, was SO nice and VERY efficient!Even though they were steadily busy, our orders came out quickly. Eggs, bacon, 2 omelettes, pancakes, grits, toast (no biscuits), and coffee; everything was cooked to order and correct the first time.This is a gem of a place... Come as you are, and stay awhile OR call ahead for pick up (no drive thru) and head back out, easy peasy! “This place never dissapoints. The food is always made to order and fast. The wings are the best in town imo. Especially the hot lemon pepper. The salads are good and the ranch is homemade which I love and I can add bacon for only $1. The lemonade is really good as well. Good place to sit down and eat. They need dessert options.“

“We lost power due to hurricane Ian the employees in this restaurant were very attentive and helped us greatly. It was great to find a place that was open everyone else was closed a d we have kids we couldn't cook for because our stove is electric.“
