“My husband and I are new to the area and had been struggling to find truly great coffee beans to make at home. Then I visited a local coffee shop, Coconut Play Café, and had one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had in a long time. When I learned they used Lanoca Coffee beans, I immediately looked them up and to say I’m so glad I did is an understatement. What I expected to find was a company. What I found instead was a heart. A family. A husband and wife who pour genuine love, intention, and meaning into everything they do. Every detail from their story to their name to their roasting process truly reflects purpose, care, and authenticity. You can feel it the moment you meet them. Their kindness, warmth, and passion are truly unforgettable. It’s rare to meet people who make you feel instantly welcomed, valued, and inspired, but they do exactly that. Their story alone will move you, and their coffee will absolutely win you over. I brewed my first cup at home this morning using the beans I purchased yesterday, and for the first time since moving here, I finally had a cup of coffee at home that felt exceptional, rich, smooth, and full of flavor. It reminded me why I fell in love with coffee in the first place. Five years from now, when I open my own coffee shop, I already know who I want to source my beans from. Lanoca Coffee will be a part of that dream. Supporting small businesses like this, built on heart, integrity, and craftsmanship is what truly makes a difference. If you love meaningful stories, incredible people, and outstanding coffee, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend.”

“Really great breakfast, biscuits and other food is so much better than the chains. Service is friendly and fast and just a short detour off the four lane. Cheese biscuits are made from scratch and my favorite.”

“This is one of the restaurants in Farmville that I frequent quite a bit. I love the Teriyaki Chicken and the Boneless Spare Ribs. The Sesame Chicken is also dope.”

“We went to Plank Road Steak House for my birthday and it was absolutely delicious. The stuffed mushrooms and crab dip for appetizers were on point. I had a ribeye with a french bougie sauce the chef made and it was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. I will definitely make the 2 hour drive again just to eat here.”

“I have had mixed feelings about this McDonalds. Tonight, June 9 2025. Y'all brought your A-game! It was a few minutes waiting. But Baybee! Well worth it. Hot, firm fries. We ordered food that included without pickles. cheeseburger plain. Superb!”

“Ice cream was fantastic. There were about 20 flavors. Prices were reasonable.

The tour was definitely worth it. They gave an overview of thr farm and let you pet some young cows. All while riding in a large wagon”

“Pitt County and Greenville and surrounding areas.. people you need to come here. what a hidden gem. This is such good country cooking. I had a BLT and onion rings but there's also flounder shrimp barbecue veggie plate and also hotdogs,cheeseburgers etc. The price is very fair and the atmosphere is really nice cozy but country And nice music in the background and good temperature to sit in. I'll definitely come again. Got to meet Carol's sister in the young server was excellent.”
