I ate here for the first time last Saturday and the food was delicious. Liberty Island Foods did not disappoint! I had oxtail, rice and peas, cabbage, plantain and I added a side of jerk shrimp! The oxtail were literally falling off the bone, so tender and flavorful! My daughter had the jerk chicken and shrimp pasta and that was delicious as well! Will definitely be dining in again soon!
My wife sent me here bc the reviews were great. I ordered the oxtail and shrimp pasta combo and it did not disappoint at all!! Very possibly the best Jamaican food I’ve had. And add on the jerk chicken patty and I’m on the couch feeling like I’ve committed a sin!
First off the food is awesome and to add to that the music selection really draws you to stay awhile to try and complete the abundance of food they give you. Hats off to the chef. If you are in or around the Bragg Blvd area do yourself a favor and check out "Liberty Island Foods. I promise you, you won't regret it.
