Went to Mikoto last night (Fri 4/26) for a birthday celebration. We put a reservation in for 7:30. Our entire party was at Mikoto by 7:10. At 7:25, we went to check on our table and were told that there was another party that was seated and we would be next. At 8:30 I went back to check on the status of our table and was told the table was finishing up and would be another 10 minutes. Mikoto’s on Raeford Road has been my family’s longtime go-to place for celebrations, but today’s experience will forever taint those previous visits. For Father’s Day, my Dad requested to eat here and due to multiple food allergies, his food has to be cooked separately and with only water, which has been a simple request in the past.
