We discovered the Blue Ridge Tavern inside the Asheville Airport terminal after the security check in and tried it for breakfast. The menu offered fancy versions of common dishes, so I tried the avocado toast. Fabulous! My husband had an omelet and declared it perfect. Our server was a cheerful lady who checked on us regularly and kept the coffee cups full.
The Barbecue Pulled Pork sandwich wasn't bad, but menu has limited options and there's no other place to eat in the airport. Had I known my flight would be 3 hours late arriving I would have gone someplace outside the airport before I turned in the rental car since you're stuck after that if you're hungry. They do need to hire more help, though, since there was only one person behind the full bar, two waiters and only one busboy and the restaurant was packed due to all the delayed...read full review

They don't have sugar free jelly or egg white options and the potatoes are fried. I have been coming here for a few years and as I get older I have thought about my health more and I bet a lot of the clientele that travels through here do as well. I do love the staff and the food you do order is always very good and fast.
